How This Mix Behaves
SuperChunk is intentionally the most aerated and fast-draining mix in our lineup. Because it dries quickly by design, watering frequency will typically be higher than with moisture-retentive mixes. This is intentional — frequent watering with fast drainage is far healthier for these plants than infrequent watering in dense, slow-draining soil.
Environmental factors including pot size, humidity, airflow, lighting, and container type will all influence drying time. This mix is designed to maximize airflow, oxygen availability, and drainage throughout the root zone for plants that naturally prefer faster dry-back cycles.
